Tour the main historical cities of Spain in a way you've never seen before, a 9-day tour in which, accompanied by an expert guide, we will know and discover each of the small details that these wonderful cities hide.
Day 1: Barcelona Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Barcelona Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at your hotel for the Barcelona Highlights tour. Half day tour in the morning that will allow you to learn about the history of the city and visit some of its most emblematic places in a comfortable and easy way. During the first part of the tour we will take a guided walking tour through the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of the city and historical center. Visiting the Ramblas, the Cathedral Square. Paseo de Gracia, where the Casa Batllo and La Pedrera are located, the Arc de Triomphe, the Citadel Park, the Olympic Village and the Olympic Port. During the next part of the tour we will access the Montjuïc mountain. Then we will go to the Poble Espanyol, which is a synthesis of the cultural richness of Spain. We will arrive at Plaza de Catalunya, where our tour will end. Free afternoon to enjoy this beautiful city and its surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Barcelona - Madrid Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from our scheduled hotels in Barcelona. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel (Depending on the number of passengers, the trip from Barcelona to Madrid will be made by train or by bus).
Day 4: Madrid - Cordoba - Seville Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from our scheduled hotels in Madrid (only one suitcase per person). Departure southbound along the land of Don Quixote, "The Man of La Mancha". Through the natural pass of "Despeñaperros" we arrive in Andalusia, a region with an enormous heritage of a splendorous past. Arrival in Cordoba. Visit of its impressive Mosque/Cathedral that will relax our mind and spirit to stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short drive of about two hours, arrival in Seville. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Seville Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning monumental and panoramic visit of the city - the Cathedral from the outside, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Typical Barrio de Santa Cruz, natural setting of "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" was developed. Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. - Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this active city full of light. Overnight at the hotel. Optional visit of a Flamenco show.
Day 6: Seville - Granada Breakfast at the hotel and departure east through the Caliphate route towards the heart of Andalusia observing an endless number of olive trees. Arrival in Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental setting, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit the world famous Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, courtyards that with their sights and sounds have inspired authors such as W. Irving in his "Tales of the Alhambra". Overnight at the hotel. In the evening, optional Flamenco Zambra show in the Sacromonte district.
Day 7: Granada - Madrid Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the north where the impressive Imperial city of Toledo - World Heritage Site and cradle of civilizations - where the three cultures, Christians, Muslims and Jews, lived together, rises under the sky of Castile and surrounded by the Tagus River. Extract of the art, history and spirituality of the country, the whole city is a National Monument. Interesting visit of the most important monuments, its narrow streets and the technique of Damascene (inlay of precious metals in steel). Continuation to Madrid and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Granada Breakfast at the hotel and free day to enjoy the Nasrid capital. Granada is more than just the Alhambra; the Muslim heritage runs through every corner of the city and blends with Christian tradition, giving rise to a unique city. Optionally, you can participate in this spirit and be immersed in the magical neighborhood of El Albaicin, a World Heritage Site, to learn its secrets: beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada, ancient mosques converted into churches and old palaces, still saturated with Arab aromas. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Madrid Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Hola España
